- ROLLING MATCH REPORT
- On their own soft and bobbly pitch Farsley started better with Luke Parkin forcing Brandon Hall into a save early on.
- Parkin had the best of the early chances on 13 minutes when Seb Revan's clearance cannoned off the Farsley forward before dropping wide.
- Straight up the other end Jaanai Gordon broke for the Bulls shaking off his marker before finding Ryan McLean who forced a fine save from Kyle Trenerry.
- Midfielder Maziar Kouhyar then went close when his looping corner floated over everybody and just wide of the far post.
- Gordon was the next to go close for Hereford capitalising on a defensive error but seeing his first effort blocked and then second easily saved.
- Hereford had a 30th minute lead with Ryan McLean twisting and turning before finding the bottom corner.
- Owen-Evans almost doubled their lead three minutes later after a pinpoint Jamie Egan cross found the midfielder who flashed his effort wide.
- Despite Farsley's poor run of form they staged a fightback firstly with Burnley loanee Ethen Vaughan seeing his cross headed over his own bar by James Vincent.
- Maziar Kouhyar looked to increase Hereford's lead backheeling a ball into the box goalwards for almost a wonder goal but Trenerry met his effort.
- At the opposite end Parkin found himself in space only to be denied by goalkeeper Hall.
- And then moments before the break Adam Celtic should have pulled Celtic level after a corner fell perfectly to the back post, but his completely missed the ball.
- A slower start to the second half saw the introduction of Hereford skipper Jared Hodgkiss.
- The Bulls went close to increasing their lead with McLean finding Gordon inside the box who saw his effort deflected wide under pressure.
- Within two minutes of his Bulls debut Mo Touray had his first chance but seeing his effort blocked inside the box after Miles Storey created the chance.
- Farsley were still not out the game and Jerome Greaves broke clear of Ben Pollock only for the Bulls last man to make a saving challenge.
- A second Hereford goal came with 12 minutes remaining with Owen-Evans finding space before taking a touch and firing in off the post.
- The Bulls maintained their pressure for further goals with Seb Revan running at the defence before seeing his cross put behind.
- Mo Touray had his debut goal in injury time bringing the ball down before beating his man and sweeping the ball home.
- Right at the death Hereford scored a fourth goal with Miles Storey beating the off-side trap before this time firing home.
