An uninsured Peugeot driver who was caught behind the wheel without a driving licence has been ordered to pay thousands by magistrates.
Pauline Clinton, 50, was caught driving along the High Street in Evesham on June 26 last year when officers discovered she didn't have either a driving licence or valid insurance.
Herefordshire Magistrates found Clinton guilty of both offences during a hearing which the defendant was not required to attend on Thursday, January 13.
As such, Clinton, of St. Davids Drive, Evesham, was fined a total of £220 for driving without a licence.
She was also hit with an additional fine of £660 for driving without insurance and further ordered to pay an £88 surcharge to fund victim services and £90 in costs.
Her driving record has been endorsed with eight penalty point.
In total, Clinton must pay £1,058 by February 10.
