A popular Cotswolds farm is up for a national award.

Cotswold Farm Park has this week been confirmed as a finalist for the National Farm Attractions Network (NFAN) 2022, Attraction of the Year.

The farm, in Guiting Power, will be competing against farm parks, rural attractions and industry suppliers from across the UK.

Fellow finalists for the Attraction of the Year category are Heads of Ayr Farm Park, Walby Farm Park and York Maze.

Owner and celebrity farmer, Adam Henson, said: “It’s an honour that the standard of Cotswold Farm Park has been recognised by NFAN.

“I’m incredibly proud of the team here who have worked through new and often challenging circumstances that visitor attractions nationally have faced over the last couple of years.

“We’ve had a fantastic 2021 and it’s been great to see new and returning visitors enjoying the Farm Park!”

Tom Robinson, NFAN Chairman said: “After a tough two years, we’re really pleased so many attractions have entered the 2022 Awards and we’re delighted to announce our 2022 Awards finalists. The standard as always has been exceptionally high, which is a tremendous reflection of the quality and range of farm-based attractions around the UK.

“The awards celebrate the best farm attractions, the fantastic range of cafés and restaurants, the leading digital marketers, inspiring events and the customer service champions. We also recognise the key role played by the companies who supply our members, with the Best Trade Supplier of the year award.”

Winners will be announced on Wednesday January 19 2022 at the annual awards dinner in Newport, Wales as part of a three-day conference and trade exhibition.

The annual gathering of farm attraction owners and industry suppliers includes visits to Cattle Country Farm Park, Cefn Mably Farm Park, Little Owl Farm Park and Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, a trade exhibition with over 80 companies exhibiting, and conference sessions with presentations from industry experts.
