AN EVESHAM man has been charged with attempted murder over the stabbing that took place on Sunday (September 26).
Giani Budor, aged 42 and of Waterside, Evesham has been charged with attempted murder. and remanded in custody to appear at Worcester Crown Court on October 26.
The alleged victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch, after receiving a single stab wound to his abdomen.
He has since been transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where he remains in a stable condition following the incident at around 12.45am on Sunday.
A police cordon was in place all day Sunday outside the entrance to Abbey Park on Bridge Street.
