A POPULAR Cotswold show has secured major sponsorship for the next three years.

While preparations for the Moreton Show, one of the country’s biggest one-day agricultural shows, are in full swing the organisers have confirmed that Cotswolds property specialists, Butler Sherborn will continue to be a major sponsor for the next three years.

Moreton Show, which was cancelled last year because of the COVID crisis, returns on Saturday, September 4th with the unanimous backing of the council of the Moreton-in-Marsh and District Agricultural and Horse Show Society, the charity established to promote the improvement in the breeding and rearing of livestock, hunters and heavy horses and improving the standards of farming and farm craft in the local area.

Butler Sherborn, which has an office in Stow on the Wold, has been a sponsor of Moreton Show for more than 14 years.

For the last five years, the company has been the principal sponsor of the Members’ Marquee.

It has now been confirmed Butler Sherborn have signed up as exclusive, title sponsors of the prestigious Members’ Marquee for at least another three years.

Sam Butler, Butler Sherborn’s senior partner, said: ‘Moreton Show is one of the highlights of the year in the Cotswolds for the farming community and local residents alike.

"It has remained true to its traditional values and offers a truly agricultural experience, showcasing the best livestock and produce reared and grown across the Cotswolds.

"For Butler Sherborn, it gives us the chance to entertain existing and potential clients at the heart of the area in which we work.

"It enables our rural department especially to network with our target audience and for the firm to maintain its brand awareness at this hugely popular and attractive rural show."

Tom Hayman-Joyce, chairman of Moreton Show, welcomed the Butler Sherborn announcement.

"It’s wonderful that Butler Sherborn is on board for another three years and together we will work on further enhancements to the Members’ Marquee."

He added that the Moreton Show team are working hard to reassure visitors that the 2021 event is safe for everyone and added that the show had come through a testing 12 months.
