A COTSWOLD teenager, taking part in the Miss England finals, has been enjoying the latest round of the competition.

Student and model Rheanna Cartier, from Kingham, took part in a makeup free beauty round at the Rafayel Hotel in London recently.

The 18-year-old was invited to submit an image of herself with no make up, to promote natural beauty and post it on her own social media channels.

Judges had the tough job of narrowing the selection to the top 12, but the teenager made the final of the round receiving a Bare Face photoshoot with top celebrity photographer, Alan Strutt and a final catwalk wearing eveningwear from To The Nines.

Angie Beasley, director of Miss England, said: “We really enjoyed the stay at the Hotel Rafayel with the Miss England finalists. I’m looking forward to seeing who wins this round at the final and gets fast tracked through to the judges shortlist.”

Rheanna said: “I’m honoured to have made the top 3 of the Bare Faced Top Model round.

"It’s been an amazing opportunity, allowing me to make new friends and memories, and I’m excited to meet such amazing and stunning women who have also entered the competition. This round in particular has made me feel different about myself, trying new styles and looks which I’m not familiar with, but has helped my confidence immensely.”

10 rounds are being held between the finalists in the lead up to the national final which takes place on Friday, August 27, at the Heart of England Conference Centre in Coventry.

The Miss England winner will then be invited to represent the country in the 70th Miss World final in Puerto Rico in December.
