A PETRIFIED Worcester family are living in fear of what might happen next after repeated vandalism and break-in attempts at their home.

Mother-of-two Emma Stone, aged 27, of Mulberry Terrace, Tolladine, says she believes she knows who is behind the attacks.

Miss Stone lives with her two children, aged five and seven, and has recently been signed off from her work at Sainsbury’s by a doctor due to the incidents.

She said: “I’m stuck in a house with two children who are petrified. I am petrified.

“My kids are constantly worried and crying, staring out the window to make sure everything’s okay.

“I cannot afford to keep replacing tyres and windows.”

Miss Stone said attacks have taken place for three years but have ramped up in recent weeks, the most recent incident coming on the night of Friday, July 24, when her front window was smashed.

She now parks two miles away from her home having had her car windows shattered on two previous occasions.

She added that her mother’s car has also been vandalised twice in recent weeks while neighbours fear for their own property.

Miss Stone stated that she had been in contact with police, the council and her housing agency, but is no closer to finding a solution.

“I’m going round in circles,” she added.

West Mercia Police have said: “Our officers are investigating the crime and have been in contact with the victim.

“Unfortunately, at the time of the incident the victim was out of the county and so a face-to-face meeting couldn’t occur.

"We are investigating and will be visiting the victim as soon as can be arranged."
