A MAN suffered 'nasty facial injuries' when he was assaulted in Quarry Bank.
The victim was on his way to work when he was attacked at the junction of Coppice Lane and Birch Avenue on Wednesday November 11, just after 8am.
Police are appealing for information and have asked witnesses to get in touch.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Did you see an assault on the morning of Wednesday 11 November?
"A man was on his way to work when he was attacked at the junction of Coppice Lane and Birch Avenue just after 8am.
"He suffered nasty facial injuries and we are asking for anyone who saw what happened or anyone with dashcam to contact us via live chat on our website or by calling 101 quoting crime reference 20DY/279092E/20."
