A 21-year-old Cotswold woman who was caught over the drink-drive limit has been given an electronic tag.

Lauren Hickling, of Porter Close, Mickleton, Chipping Campden, pleaded guilty to the offence when she appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on September 3.

Hickling was stopped in her car on Chapel Lane, Mickleton, on July 30.

She was found to have 96 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.

Hickling was given a three-month curfew with electronic monitoring which prevents her leaving the house between 9pm and 9am.

She was also banned from driving for two years and ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £180.
