A TROUBLEMAKING teen from Worcester now risks prison if he carries on with his antisocial antics.

Rhys Wiggins, aged 19, of Debdale Avenue, Warndon Villages, Worcester is now subject to a criminal behaviour order which places increased restrictions on the nuisance teen's behaviour.

However, police feel his behaviour may have improved since he moved out of Kempsey where he carried out his anti-social behaviour.

Wiggins, previously of Windmill Lane, Kempsey, was made subject to the order today at Worcester Magistrates Court after a successful application by the community harm (anti-social behaviour) co-ordinator for South Worcestershire, part of West Mercia Police.

A police spokesperson said: "The CBO was submitted on the back of a public order offence committed in January 2020 in Kempsey. Due to Covid, the application has been adjourned several times but finally heard today.

"Due to change in Wiggins’ circumstances, i.e, moving out of Kempsey coupled with the fact he has not come to attention of police for anti-social antics since moving out of the area, the prohibitions sought were reduced to a single condition that he is not to associate, in any public place, with three named youths from Kempsey whom he frequently committed anti-social behaviour with."

The CBO was granted for two years with that one prohibition.
