A BANNER with a hard hitting question about eating meat has been hung on a Worcester footbridge. The banner on the footbridge over City Walls Road reads: “Why love one but eat the other?” and has a picture of a dog and pig. It appears to have been placed there by followers of an American vegan activist group, known as Toronto Animal Save. We asked Anthony Chesher, co-owner of Be The Change Foods in Worcester, his opinion on the sign. He said: “It’s certainly an interesting question to ask ourselves, isn’t it? And it can’t hurt us to ponder these questions from time to time.” The council said the banner will be removed as it is “unauthorised.” A spokesman for Worcestershire County Council said: “I can confirm that the sign is unauthorised and the council will be removing it.” What do you think of the message?
