Broadway is a thriving golf course, home to golfers of all ages and abilities.

Club captain Phil Bennett said: “We pride ourselves on being a welcoming golf course. There are always groups people can fit into and play with.

“We have a strong junior section with the youngest six years old, and our longest-serving member has been with the club for more than 60 years.

“We even have one club member who is 93 years old. There is a real sense of community and enjoyment all the way down through the club.”

There are a number of different membership options for golfers to choose from, whether casual players or avid players who play several times a week.

Options include junior membership for young golfers, international membership for those who live outside the UK.

Other options include country membership for those who live more than 50 miles away and social membership for those who are non-golfers but would like to enjoy the benefits of the bar and other facilities.

As part of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations, the club is holding an open day in September to give non-members a chance to see what the club is all about.

Running from 10am until 4pm on Sunday, September 13, golfers can enjoy a complimentary nine holes and a look round the club.

To find out more about memberships, contact the office (open Monday to Friday, 9am until 4pm) on 01386 853683, or complete the enquiry form on the club’s website (www.broadwaygolfclub.co.uk/membership_information) and a full membership pack will be emailed to you.

Alternatively, you can arrange to visit to allow the club to show you around, book a complimentary round and answer your questions.
