TWO Cotswold markets will reopen next week after temporarily closing due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Members of the markets committee have been busy growing produce during the lockdown.
Moreton-in-Marsh is reopening its market at the old WI Hall, New Road on Thursday, September 3, between 10am and noon.
That market has been running since 1968 and as organisers say "Although times have changed, the ethos is the same".
Manager Angela Orr, who has been baking for the market for 10 years, said her focus was recruiting new members, building the market, keeping producers happy, and making the local community aware of their presence.

Meanwhile Chipping Campden County Market makes its welcome return on Friday, September 4. Based at the Lower Town Hall organisers say: "Over 40 years have passed, yet it still continues to thrive in this small community. We regularly celebrate and make a theme of both local and national events, such as Scuttlebrook Wake, Marmalade Week and British Food Fortnight."
Nicola Hopper, chairman of Chipping Campden Market, said: "As time has moved on - and following on from Covid19, both markets need a revival, so that we can continue to serve the community, and offer customers what we do best."
"Our motto is homegrown, homemade, hand crafted - our logo of cook, craft. grown,is so important as it showcases what we are about."
