Man jailed for harassing parents
A Rhyl man accused of harassing his mum and stepdad by demanding money for drink and drugs was jailed for twelve months after repeatedly breaching a restraining order.
Jobe Morris, of no fixed address, had been aggressive after visiting the stepdad’s home last month, Mold crown court heard.
Recorder Paul Lewis QC told him: "Your behaviour towards your family by any version of events is abusive, aggressive and threatening. You are 30 and have a long history of previous convictions.”
The judge added: "You must learn that breaches of this order will result in longer and longer sentences.”
The restraining order, which he admitted breaching, was extended for five years.
Defence counsel Ryan Rothwell said Morris was “truly sorry” and had mental health issues.
