Every morning early I walk for two hours on Minchinhampton Common. Invariably I am harassed by a loose dog. Yesterday, when two very large animals came bounding up to me, one pushing its nose against my stomach, I shouted out to the owner "get your dogs away from me". He shouted back, "If you don't like dogs, you shouldn't come on to the Common."
Who "should" be on the Common - him or me?
Sincerely
Kate Shuckburgh
