DROITWICH Spa pulled 11 points clear at the top of West Midlands League Division One with a 9-0 home thrashing of Bustleholme.

Spa, whose regular base at Stourport Swifts' Walshes Meadow was flooded, put in an excellent display at Malvern Town's HDanywhere Stadium.

Bustleholme suffered another thrashing after losing 10-0 to Droitwich last season and 7-1 already this term.

Ben Tilbury's 20-yard strike cannoned back off the bar before Connor Collins opened the scoring on six minutes with a sublime strike from distance.

Collins added a second five minutes later, forcing home Tilbury's curling effort.

James Lemon added a third with a fine finish and barely 20 minutes had been played when Alex Dugmore powerfully headed a corner into the roof of the net.

Spa made it 5-0 by the half-hour mark with the free-scoring Collins curling a shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.

The hosts added another before the break as Collins made it 27 goals in just 24 games.

Bustleholme repelled Spa's advances for the first quarter of the second half before substitute Haydn Morris netted thanks to tidy footwork and a shot from the edge of the area.

Lemon added two more before the end of the game to complete his hat-trick for 21 goals in 23 appearances.

Droitwich's front two have scored 48 between them this season and the Saltmen have got 79 in 19 league games.

On Saturday, Spa meet Gornal Colts at Bromsgrove Sporting's Victoria Ground (3pm).

Meanwhile, Worcester Raiders lost 2-0 at Dudley Sports who climbed off the bottom of the Premier Division.
