UK couples are being encouraged to get in their cars and enjoy a romantic drive through some of the country's best scenery this Valentine's Day.
Suggestions from the team at LeaseCar.uk included a quaint trip in the Cotswolds, which came in at number four in a top nine list.
A route from Cheltenham to Stratford-upon-Avon, through the Cotswolds was described as: "Stretching across 32.7 miles, this route passes through the tranquil green hills of the Cotswolds, finishing up in Stratford-upon-Avon; the birthplace of William Shakespeare.
"A series of quaint English villages are also along the route, as well as the historic town of Chipping Campden."
A spokesperson from LeaseCar.uk said: “When Valentine’s Day rolls around each year, it’s a mad dash to book a table at your favourite restaurant, the latest rom-com in the cinema or a lane at the local bowling alley.
“But this year, we’re urging couples to take to the great outdoors to celebrate their love for one another."
First on the list is a driving route through the Lake District.
