Pupils at St Mary's C of E Primary School in Chipping Norton are set for a bumper year of sport ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games after winning £20,000 to spend on new equipment for a healthy legacy from Aldi.
The school won the prize as part of Aldi’s Kit for Schools campaign, which will provide students with a range of exciting new sporting opportunities. The prize money will be put towards enhancing their athletics track with professional training hurdles, a long jump pit and equipment for lessons and after school club activities.
