RHYL and District Rugby Club will be hosting an evening with an international star next month.
Three time Grand Slam winner and former Welsh international captain Ryan Jones will be visiting the club’s Tynewydd Fields facilities on Tynewydd Road from 7pm on February 20.
Proceeds from tickets sold (£35) will be going towards Shine Cancer Support and The John Hardy Memorial Playground.
The umissable evening will include a two course meal, an auction of rugby memorabilia, a raffle and a Q&A session with Jones.
The 38-year-old turned out 75 times for the national team, in a successful international career spanning a decade (2004-2014).
His record of 33 caps as Wales captain was only surpassed by Sam Warburton on March 14, 2015. He also made three appearances for the British & Irish Lions in 2005.
