VOCAL High, a choir with singers from around Pershore and Worcester, will be holding a winter concert tomorrow night.

The choir of 45 singers, which prides itself on "a diverse repertoire", is inviting music lovers to the Winter Warmer concert being held at The Barn at The Fleece, Bretforton.

The choir are promising a unique winter performance of songs, traditional and 'not-so-traditional'.

The group are well-known for their eclectic repertoire and original arrangements, as demonstrated earlier this year at their support gig for Australian ensemble 'The Spooky Men's Chorale' held at Huntingdon Hall, Worcester.

The group is led by singer and vocal coach Paula Evans, who also sings with the vocal quintet Excelsa Voces and Pershore pianist and composer Chris Long.

Music will include shanties and seasonal songs from medieval and Tudor England, as well as music from Macedonia and Georgia.

The concert takes place from 8pm.
