STAFF at Campden Home Nursing’s Charity Shop are preparing to celebrate the shop’s first birthday this weekend.

The shop at Lower High Street, Chipping Campden, recently enjoyed its best month ever since opening nearly year ago.

It has exceeded the charity’s expectations in terms of sales and growth in its first year, delivering a healthy income to help fund the charity’s free ‘hospice at home’ services to those living in and around Chipping Campden.

Helen Makaritis, general manager of Campden Home Nursing said: “I couldn’t be prouder as the shop goes from strength to strength. Huge thanks to manager, Kate McPherson-Smith and her team, all the wonderful volunteers who give their time and talent to the shop, as well as those who support the shop by donating and shopping with us.”

The shop will be marking the date with cupcakes and balloons on Saturday, October 19, between 10am-5pm.
