ALVECHURCH scored a stoppage time equaliser to earn a 1-1 draw against Biggleswade.
Church came into the game looking for a first victory in a month, while Biggleswade were looking to build on some good recent league form.
The visitors started brightly with Shaun Luciens cross hitting the post within the first minute and Solomon Sambou firing wide.
Darren Byfield has brought in a number of new faces in recent weeks and new keeper Joseph Slinn was on hand to deny Biggleswade forward Joseph White in a one-on-one situation.
Alvechurch responded with Jordan Goddard firing just over from the edge of the box, debutant Kyle Perry being inches away from reaching a cross and Kevin Monterio firing over as the first half ended goalless.
Biggleswade started the half well with Slinn denying Lucien and Matthew Miles In quick succession.
Alvechurch responded with Ben Usher-Shipway having a long range shot saved after a good run, while Perry was also denied.
Kyle Morrison then had a shot cleared off the line before Biggleswade looked to have won it scoring with a minute of normal time left. White turned in the box and fired into the corner.
However, in the fourth minute of stoppage time, John Atherton was brought down in the box allowing Perry to score from the spot and earn the Church a point.
