The family of a Glasgow man who has been missing since Thursday have pleaded for help to bring him home. 

The whereabouts of John Glenn, 40, are unknown since he picked up his own medication and some money on Thursday morning. 

Mr Glenn, who now lives in Springburn, has reportedly not mentioned any new acquaintances or friends to family, with police aware of the case.

Officers are said to be checking for his whereabouts, with family and friends making pleas on social media to get any information on John. 

His aunt, Annmarie, told the Evening Times the situation was "very unusual". 

She added: "He’s normally in daily contact with his ex-partner but she’s heard nothing since Thursday morning and his phone has been going to voicemail since Thursday night.

"The police are checking on his last whereabouts but we really can’t think where he might be.

"He also hasn’t lifted any cash since Thursday or collected his medication since then which is very unusual."

Hundreds of people shared information about John, with family urging anyone with answers to get in touch.
