IN mediaeval times, the plants in gardens were chosen not so much for their looks but for their culinary, medicinal and household uses.
According to modern medical herbalist, Caroline Sheldrick, however, many of the attractive garden plants grown today still have useful medicinal properties - if we only know what these are.
On Thursday, June 6, Caroline will be speaking at the South Herefordshire Dowsers' public meeting in Aston Ingham Village Hall, and showing how a number of well known garden plants may be grown, prepared and used to make effective herbal remedies.
You may never look on your garden in the same way again!
Her talk begins at 7.30pm and visitors are welcome.
