Police descended on a housing development in the North of Glasgow as part on an ‘ongoing operation’.
Officers and sniffer dogs were seen on Balmore Road and Drumfearn Road searching the back of a car on Wednesday evening.

Police were unable to give details about the incident but confirmed it was related to an ‘ongoing operation’.
Local residents reported hearing sirens before the police vans swooped in on the scene.
