Southerndown care home
AN Oxfordshire care home is celebrating after performing strongly in a nationwide survey.
Southerndown care home in Chipping Norton was given an Overall Performance Rating (OPR) score of 995 out of 1,000 by residents, and 873 by their family members in the 2018 Your Care Rating survey.
The survey is the country’s largest survey of care homes.
The results represent a 23-point increase on last years’ 'family and friends' score.
General manager Mandy Vettraino said: “It’s great that not just our residents, but their families and friends value the care they receive.
She added: “We obviously want to get even better and the survey helps us do that by giving us direct feedback.”
