HUNDREDS of rubber ducks will float downstream at a well-loved event in the Cotswolds this Easter.
The Burford and Kingham Rotary Club will hold the festivities between 11.30am and 3pm on Easter Monday, April 17 at the Mill House Hotel, in Station Road, Kingham.
On the day, there will be 40 races of 24 ducks with each winner scooping a £10 prize.
All winners will then be entered into a grand final, where they could win £100 prize.
It costs £2 to sponsor a duck, with proceeds going to Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre, in Oxford.
Money will also be raised for charities including Chipping Norton Riding for the Disabled and Kingham Primary School Association.
Alongside the duck race, there will be a bouncy castle, games and refreshments for visitors to enjoy.
The event is free to enter and tickets to sponsor ducks can be bought at the event or in advance from the Mill House, The Wild Rabbit pubs and the Kingham Village Stores.
