POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Moreton-in-Marsh.
The man had just left work at 6pm on Wednesday, December 14, and began walking towards the Bourton-on-the-Hill road.
He was carrying a gold iPad Air2 and was wearing headphones.
As he reached the launderette at the end of Hospital Road unknown offenders kicked or pushed him from behind causing him to stumble and then he was punched in the face.
His iPad was stolen and the offenders ran away along Corders Lane. The victim suffered a black eye and grazing on his forehead during the attack.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has further information is urged to call police on 101 quoting incident number 443 of December 14.
