COTSWOLD Farm Park will be hosting an after-school event next week where visitors can learn all about lambing.

The popular attraction will be leaving its gates open for an extra two hours on Tuesday (March 22) to allow guests to learn about the numbering system, the ear tags, how the team know when to expect their first lambs and how to spot a ewe who is about to give birth.

The Farm Park will be open from 10.30am as normal, but from 4.00pm the farm's Touch Barn will host a special exhibition with staff on hand to talk visitors through the whole lambing process and answer questions.

There will be bottle feeding, a quiz on what you have learned and the chance to get an up-close look at some of our newest arrivals.

The gates won’t be closing until 6.30pm and the cafe will stay open until 7pm.

All activities will be included in the normal cost of admission, however, Farm Park members enter for free.
