SHIPSTON Home Nursing's Christmas Gift Fair welcomed almost 500 visitors over two days despite having to deal with the tail end of Storm Barney.
Despite the hostile weather, more than £6,000 was raised for the charity which had returned to its original venue, at Townsend Hall, where they started 16 years ago.
The festive atmosphere was complimented with mulled wine and mince pies, along with homemade refreshments.
Thirty five stalls sold a wide range of goods including ceramics, jewellery, decorations, greetings cards as well as clothing and soft furnishings.
