SAVINGS schemes and on-line members' food clubs have earned Moreton's Warner's Budgens store the accolade of Best Large Convenience Store in a nationwide competition run through Convenience Store magazine.
The store was recognised for the work it does in the local community including its community savings scheme which supports local charities and groups by turning green tokens into cash. The store was also recognised for its online members' food club which gies customers a reward card and also money-off coupons every month. Judges also praised the stores delicatessen counter and locally sourced ranges.
The award was collected on behalf of the company at a ceremony in Bishopsgate, London, by store manager Jerry Tweney and marketing manager Lucy Worrall.
