VINTAGE cars filled the grounds of Sudeley Castle & Gardens as another successful rally was held at the Cotswolds landmark.
Hundreds of visitors raced to spot, near Winchcombe, to see more than 180 classic cars on display within the beautiful grounds of the castle.
Elizabeth, Lady Ashcombe, who owns and at lives at the castle, picked a 1948 Bentley Mark VI to receive the ‘Best in Show’ car and presented the owner, Mr Harden with a trophy and a hamper.
Kim Gibbon, visitor services manager, said: “The day was a huge success and we were thrilled to see so many people of all ages enjoying the display of a variety of vehicles from decades gone by.”
The castle will be hosting another motoring event on Sunday, October 5, for the Aston Martin Owners Club Autumn Concours.
Open to all, the day provides is a rare and exclusive opportunity to see more than 100 of these iconic British luxury sports cars.
Entry to the Aston Martin event is included with admission to the castle which can be purchased on the Sudeley Castle website or on the day.
