POLICE were called to round up a cow which was loose on the road between Blockley and Paxford.
The black bullock was spotted by a member of the public on the verge near a fence just before 10.10pm on Saturday.
The resident was concerned the dark-coloured bull would not be seen in the dark.
Officers tracked down the farmer and they contained it in a field.
