PEOPLE in Worcestershire are being given the chance to have their say on a service transporting people to and from hospital appointments.
The current contract for the county’s Patient Transport Service due to expire and the three Clinical Commissioning Groups in Worcestershire are asking for those who have used the service to let them know what they think about it.
Ferduse Sadiq – who is leading the project to re-procure the service on behalf of south Worcestershire, Redditch and Bromsgrove and Wyre Forest CCGs – said: “This is a very important service for many people across Worcestershire and we want to ensure that patients have access to the best transport service possible.
“It’s vital that we hear residents views about the current service, to see if people are happy with it, can it be improved and what improvements people would suggest.”
Feedback can be sent via a survey at www.southworcsccg.nhs.uk or by attending an event at St Peter’s Baptist Church in Eden Close, Worcester, from 6pm on Tuesday, May 27.
