EARLY risers can look forward to a Dawn Chorus Walk at Hidcote Manor Garden.
The National Trust property near Chipping Campden is hosting the event on Sunday, May 4 as part of International Dawn Chorus Day 2014.
Bird lovers from Colorado to Canterbury will be joining in this year’s national event, organised by The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country.
Founded by environmentalist Chris Baines in the 1980’s, it has grown from a small gathering in Birmingham to an international celebration of nature’s daily miracle.
Walkers can meet at the main courtyard entrance at 5am wearing walking shoes, warm clothing and waterproofs if required along with binoculars.
Tickets are £9.50 for adults and £4.50 for children under 16.
