A GIANT snail, a tarantula and even a millipede crawled into a nursery near Shipston as part of a workshop.
Youngsters at Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery, Upper Tysoe, enjoyed a visit from the animal handling workshop company Zoolab last week, as part of a project about ‘mini beasts’. Nursery manager Rachel Giorgio said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed the visit and loved having the opportunity to touch and feel the creatures, as well as ask the ranger questions all about them.
“It helps bring our project to life and gives them something amazing to tell their parents about at the end of the day – it’s not every day you get to see a tarantula at the nursery.”
