A FESTIVE forest of 47 imaginatively decorated Christmas trees have taken root in the nave of a 14th Century church in Chipping Campden.
The Christmas Tree Festival in St James’ Church got underway on Tuesday with 300 people visiting on the first day.
Crowds enjoyed a cuppa, a mince pie and voted for their favourite tree which have all been decorated by Campden schools, businesses and organisations. Organiser Paull Tickner said: “I think the 47 trees we’ve got have shown an amazing degree of creativity and imagination.”
The festival is open daily from 10am to 5pm until Saturday.
