Jacqueline Jossa promised fans are in for a “shock” as her character Lauren Branning returns to EastEnders.
Lauren has been living in New Zealand in the soap with Peter Beale and their baby Louie while Jacqueline was on real-life maternity leave with her own daughter Ella.
But she’s set to make her comeback later this year and teased fans that they can expect her to arrive back in the square with a bang.
“It is a dramatic return. It’s not your average EastEnders thing where people are screaming and shouting, but it will shock people,” she told the Daily Star.
Lauren left the square in February 2015 but she was seen briefly in September when she returned for dad Max’s murder trial and to have a baby boy.
In February, Jacqueline gave birth to her own daughter, her first child with fiance and Towie star Dan Osborne, and she revealed that Ella will be joining her on set when she returns.
News of Lauren’s return to the Square has fans very excited.
Well, except for this one guy.
We’re looking forward to your return, Jacqueline!
