This week the Apprentice candidates are tasked with selling high-end and mid-price property across London.
With flats going for over £1.5million, there’s plenty of commission up for grabs, and when the candidates decide to go for the hard sell they’re not known for thinking about what comes out their mouths.
Add in some candidates forgetting basic facts and others struggling to close the deal, and Lord Sugar, Karren and Claude aren’t in a forgiving mood.
Here’s a taste of what to expect in week nine:
Joseph has big ambitions:
“I want to own my own tower block, Valente Towers. I might even call it Valentino Towers just for Lord Sugar.”
Charleine’s excitement in making her first sale:
“£350,000! You could buy a street in Wales with that money… wow!”
Joseph tries to change his wardrobe:
“Harry didn’t think I looked cool enough with my braces yesterday, he said I looked too corporate. No pink shirts, so I’ve tried to mimic his outfit this morning, so hopefully he’s going to be impressed.”
Karren on what Richard and Vana are offering to potential buyers:
“No show flat, no floor plans, just a plate of biscuits.”
Richard tries to get the developer’s name right:
“Galialiard? Gallialala? I’m just going to not say it, I think it’ll be easier.”
Scott struggles to find some potential buyers:
“Are we missing a trick? You can’t just go out onto the streets for stuff like this.”
