THE Pershore arts venue, Number 8, is determined to bring colour and light to the darkest days of winter, through a new exhibition.
There will be a showing of stained glass art by artist Maureen Sullivan, from Thursday, January 7 to Wednesday, January 17, from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday.
A spokesman said: "Maureen’s stained glass creations bring colour and light to the darker days of winter. She uses sea glass and crystals in some of her pictures and explores themes of nature, mosaics, and abstract and geometric patterns.
"Unlike paintings, glass needs light to shine through it, and as the light changes throughout the day, the quality of the glass pictures changes too."
