STONE the crows, The Roving Crows are winging their way to the Evesham Arts Centre.

But catch them while you can. Many critics are tipping them for the top.

Widely regarded as "the ones to watch", the up and coming ban are celebrated for original Celtic music; frenetic fiddle playing, great guitar and percussion and strong, vibrant lyrics.

A spokesman said: "Roving Crows have carved a niche in the UK folk music scene since 2009. Their powerful live performance and unique sound has earned them a loyal following, numerous awards and national airplay on BBC Radio.

"The Crows have entertained crowds alongside artists such as Kate Rusby, Steeleye Span, The Levellers, Jamie Cullum adnd Bellowhead at festivals from Cambridge to Sark an Les Traverses Tatihou in France. Catch them at Evesham."

The band will be in Evesham to help promote a new album, 'Bury Me Naked'.

The spokesman added:"They are gaining a reputation as one of the most hard-working bands on the scene.

" In 2014 they received the award for 'Best Live Act' from Spiral Earth, followed by 'Band of The Year' in the FATEA Music awards, adding to their numerous awards from previous years such as 'Best Folk Act'. The Roving Crows have just been named 'International Artist of the Year' at the 2017 Australian Music Awards."
