WORK has now started on a major new multi-million pound facility for a county communications company.

The work, to build DRPG's new scenic warehouse facility, a 15,000sq ft new-build at the firm's Hartlebury headquarters.

It forms part of a major £6million three-year investment programme, with work due to be completed in December this year.

“We identified last year that to enable us to achieve our 3-year growth plan, we have to continue to invest in our people, facilities and infrastructure - the good times will return and we have to be ready.

"The pandemic has allowed us to bring forward certain investments, which we had planned for 2021/2. Recent announcements of this being a recession worse than 11 years ago should not be considered.

"While the taps of our economy have been turned off with COVID-19, preventing growth and stalling the economy for a short period, this will turn around once everything is turned back on.”

The new warehouse facility is part of an ongoing programme of improvements across the Group, including a £1.7M new comms, creative and team wellbeing centre which is nearing completion, £500,000 on a new roof with 750 solar panels installed

Further investments include £700,000 invested in digital technology; new online project management and CRM system; build of a new media and virtual centre at our Windsor site, and the opening of the new Cologne HQ, which goes live in September.

In preparation for the return of certain sectors, DRPG will be opening their doors again, both live and virtually, for their annual Recruitment Day taking place on September 3 and 4.

Mr Parmenter added: "This will allow people to safely book in times to meet with our team, in person or online, following all government guidelines.

"It is key to secure the business with the talent to continue being a stable business. More details will be shared in due course."

Earlier this year, DRPG was given platinum status by the Investors in People scheme- a prestigious award only given to two per cent of the 50,000 companies assessed during the scheme's history.

The Platinum status means principles, policies and practices around supporting people are embedded in every corner of the organisation.
