A LULSLEY pub celebrated its first anniversary after undergoing significant structural and interior development.

The Fox and Hounds, which recently came runner up in our Pub of the Year award, built a big following for its locally-sourced pub classics and seasonal menu its Sunday lunches and its strong real ale line up.

Tom Clarke manager and assistant manager Ryan Taylor said 2019 had been a significant year having redeveloped the site.

Mr Clarke said: “Since reopening we have received tremendous feedback from local people and from people across Worcestershire.

“We have a cracking kitchen and front of house team. People really like our devotion to using the very best local produce and that we always endeavour to maintain an excellent level of customer service.We really appreciate the amount of support we have received from the wider Alfrick and Lulsley community in helping us get to where we are now.”

As well as Pub of the Year runner up, the pub was also commended at the Visit Worcestershire Awards for Excellence, the recipient of a Level 5 Food Hygiene Rating and passed Cask Marque’s Real Ale accreditation with a 100 per cent score.
