GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL VARIATION OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON STREET PARKING ORDER 2017 BY AMENDING THE PLANS TO (PROHIBIT AND RESTRICT THE WAITING ALONG VARIOUS ROADS WITHIN THE COTSWOLD DISTRICT AND FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT) 2018
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has
made a Variation under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
the effect of which is to vary the Gloucestershire County Council
On Street Parking Order 2017 (“the 2017 Order”) to prohibit
and restrict the waiting along the roads within the Cotswold
District and the Forest of Dean District as described in the
Schedule below:-

1.The 2017 Order will be varied by the attachment of
plans similar to those used in this consultation and
which identify the roads or sides of road to which the
prohibitions of waiting, loading and parking places affect.
2. This Variation shall come into operation on the 28th May 2018
and may be cited as the Gloucestershire County Council On
Street Parking Order 2017 By Amending the Plans to (Prohibit
and Restrict the Waiting along Various Roads within the
Cotswold District and Forest of Dean District) 2018.
The lengths of road fall within various Towns and Parishes in
the Cotswold District and the Forest of Dean District in the
County of Gloucestershire.
The usual exemptions will apply to Statutory Undertakers
and Local Authority vehicles carrying out duties in exercise
of their statutory powers, and also in the case of emergency
services vehicles and disabled persons vehicles.
A copy of the Sealed Plans to be inserted into the
Schedule of Plans together with a copy of the Statement
of Reasons, may be inspected during normal opening
hours at Gloucestershire County Council, Main Reception
Shire Hall, Gloucester, GL1 2TG, Stow on the Wold Library,
St. Edward’s Hall, The Square, Stow on the Wold, GL54
1AF, Chipping Campden Library, High Street, Chipping
Campden, GL55 6AT, Cinderford Library, Belle Vue Road,
Cinderford, GL14 2BZ, Cotswold District Council Offices,
Trinity Road, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, GL7 1PX, Forest
of Dean District Council Offices, High Street, Coleford,
Gloucestershire, GL16 8HG and Bourton on the Water
Library, George Moore Community Centre, Moore Road,
Bourton on the Water, GL54 2AZ or can be viewed at
www.gloucestershire.gov.uk (Please quote reference HBL/64881).
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Variation
or any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not
within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 or on the ground that any requirement to that Act
or any Statutory Instrument made under it has not been
complied with in relation to the Variation may within six
weeks of the date on which the Variation is made, apply to
the High Court for this purpose.
