Proposed Order: to impose a temporary 10 mph speed limit on that part of B4035 Badsey Road, Badsey from its junction with BR2138 Bridge to its junction with Horsebridge Avenue, in order to facilitate footway reconstruction and kerb replacement works Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing 27 November
(District of Wychavon - Evesham) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Boat Lane, Abbot Chyrytons Place and Huxleys Way, Evesham] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of roads in Evesham:-Boat Lane (north side) from its junction with Abbot Chyrytons Place for a distance of 34 metres in an easterly direction; from its junction with Huxleys Way (west) for a distance of 53 metres in an easterly direction. AbbotChyrytonsPlace(westside) from its junction with Boat Lane for a distance of 85 metres in a northerly direction; (north side) from a point 122 metres north then east of its junction with Boat Lane for a distance of 4 metres in a southerly then easterly direction; (east side) from its junction with Boat Lane for a distance of 17 metres in a northerly direction; (south side) from a point 81 metres north of its junction with Boat Lane for a distance of 37 metres in an easterly direction. Huxleys Way (west) (both sides) from its junction with Boat Lane for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction. (Huxleys Way (east) (west side) from its junction with BoatLaneforadistanceof5 metresin anortherly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles. AcopyofthedraftOrder,relevantplan andStatement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Wychavon District Council, Evesham Community Contact Centre, Abbey Road, Evesham, Worcs., WR11 4SB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
