NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OFTHEWILDLIFEAND COUNTRYSIDEACT 1981
The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire Stonesfield Public Footpath No. 21, Combe Public Footpath No. 13 & Combe Public Footpath No. 14 Modification Order 2016 On the 5th December 2016, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above Order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-
On the 5th December 2016, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above Order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-
1) Adding a public footpath from Stonesfield Bridleway 4 at grid reference SP 3933 1647 and running in an east-south-easterly direction near to the River Evenlode for approximately 92 metres to SP 3941 1643 then continuing east-south-eastwards for approximately 40 metres to a stream and the Parish Boundary at SP 3945 1641
2) Adding a public footpath from the Parish Boundary, Stonesfield FP 21 and Combe FP 14 at SP 3945 1641 and running generally north-eastwards up a steep-sided valley for approximately 617 metres to meet the Combe to Stonesfield road at SP 3989 1682
3) Adding a public footpath from the Parish Boundary, Stonesfield FP 21 and Combe FP 13 at SP 3945 1641 and running generally south-eastwards for approximately 508 metres and then south-westwards for approximately 18 metres, crossing a field boundary at SP 3979 1604 and then continuing south-south-eastwards for approximately 286 metres to Combe FP 3 at SP 3989 1577.

A copy of the Order and Order map may be purchased from the Countryside and Records, Definitive Map and Commons, Oxfordshire County Council,Signal Court, Old Station Way, Eynsham, OX29 4TL,at the price of £3.50. The order as confirmed became operative on the date of confirmation but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of Schedule 15 to the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from 19th January 2017, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
