NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U92617, Overton Road, Orleton, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U92617, Overton Road, Orleton, opposite Orleton Manor and Bank Cottages. Grid Ref: 349090/266993. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Overton Lane onto Kitchen Hill Road onto Millbrook Way and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to supply alteration works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 4th of April 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.
