I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. Simon was a good friend though sadly we'd been out of touch for quite a while. We were neighbours in our teens and used to play together, wrecking his Dad's garage during one afternoon by rigging up a pulley mechanism to a workbench to drive a go cart! A lovely guy with a wicked sense of humour and really amusing and fun to be with. I'm so sorry not to have visited him prior to lockdown.
Love to your Mum Pat, Simon and also your sister, Harriet. Rest in peace

I hope this photograph, taken with Simon at my 10th birthday, brings some comfort to his family and friends. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing, despite it being almost half a century since I last saw him. I only recently found this photo along with the gift (an Eagle Annual) that he gave me. I will always remember him for being a big fan of his namesake- Simon Templar, and as the charming, fun loving , athletic pal who you always wanted in your team.

I am so sorry to hear this, and am thinking of you all. I taught Simon in the ABI Centre for several years. He always spoke so warmly of all the family.

I am so sorry to hear that lovely Simon has passed away. Simon, a regular attendee at the ABI Centre for many years, was dear to the hearts of many of us. Despite all the challenges he faced he was always remarkably cheerful at the Centre. My condolences to all the family - You all worked so hard to ensure that life for Simon was as comfortable as possible. Kind regards
Lesley Kewley ( previous manager of the ABI Centre)
