PERSHORE Ladies continued their flying start to the Midlands Ladies' Touch League South West campaign on Sunday.
They conceded no tries in the second round at Berry Hill having won the 10-team first round at Luctonians on March 25.
Lead coach Alice Keylock said: “We have had a lot of new players join recently, they have gelled really well and proved that having fun is the route to success.
"We are all really looking forward to playing together over the next seven months of the touch season.”
It marked a winning weekend for all sections of Pershore RFC with the senior men's side enjoying a 50-25 success at Claverdon in Midlands Four West (South). They round off with a home clash against Coventrians on Saturday (3pm).
That is followed by Pershore's celebration of rugby day on Saturday, April 28 with current and past players along with family and friends welcome to attend Piddle Park from 2pm.
There will be demonstrations of touch and contact rugby for men, women and children, a live band and bouncy castle.
Anyone interested in joining can attend training sessions with the men on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm, the ladies' contact on Mondays at 7pm and all parts of the junior section on Sundays from 10am until May. The ladies' touch is on Wednesdays from 7.30pm and Sundays from 10am.
