Worcester Warriors sealed a last-gasp 13-12 win against Northampton Saints at Sixways in their Aviva Premiership opener.

Here are our play ratings:

7 Pennell – Looked sharp and assured after an early blip when he cleared directly into touch after the ball had been passed back into Worcester's 22.

7 Vuna – Didn’t see much of the ball in the second-half but started brightly.

8 Olivier – Impressive Premiership debut from the centre who showed his strength with a break in the second-half.

8 Mills – Formed a solid centre pairing with Olivier and tackled well. Struck the post with a long-range penalty attempt.

8 Biggs – A couple of runs down the flanks and came inside to look for work. Made a host of important tackles.

7 Heathcote – Set up Worcester’s try and missed three penalties before holding his nerve to slot the winning drop goal.

7 Arr – Kept Warriors in the right areas with his tactical kicking.

8 Leleimalefaga – Worked hard on his Premiership debut and added power to Worcester’s scrum.

7 Annett – A couple of blips in the lineout but worked tirelessly in defence and won vital turnovers.

7 Schonert – Held up his end in the scrum and didn’t look out of place in the top tier.

8 O’Callaghan – Looks a class act and added physicality to Warriors’ pack.

8 Barry – Strong in the lineout and showed he’s capable of mixing it with the Premiership’s best.

9 Dowson – Outstanding against his former club.

8 Mama – Stood up well to Saints’ onslaught and worked hard until replaced by Cox.

9 Van Velze – Rose to the occasion against his former club and had his best game for Warriors.
